mostly A's?

So I was feeling pretty bad about not blogging in two weeks, but then I took a quick survey of the blogs on my links list. Now I don't feel so bad. In fact, I'm rather proud of myself.

Obviously I'm not the only one who's life has been like the last round of shuffleboard, when you realize that you have to forget about which hole will get your chips the most points. You just have to get them in one of the holes. Just finish out the game and hope that they aren't all still sitting in the middle of the board in the end.

I just have to write my papers, staple my bulletin boards (yes, I'm an ed major), give my presentations, take my tests, and hope and pray that in the end those exams will give me what I need to make this semester worth all that time and energy.

Oh good news: the snow is gone!

Actually you should be happy for the semester endings in your life right now. It sort of brings an end to all your to do lists which must be so refreshing and good for clearing of the mind. As I look around at months old stacks of paper around me I sorta wish I had a semester ending. Or maybe a move?!

I liked the shuffleboard analogy, even if it does represent a rather defeatist strategy.

How is that "mostly A's" goal shaping up as you enter dead week?
