Well instead of a frown, lately I've been worried that my face may get stuck in another expression: that "I'm not amused" face.
It seems to be the only one I use these days in the world of fifth grade. That one and the "that was really funny, but I'm trying to pretend that I'm not amused."
There's a few fifth graders who can always succeed in making me laugh when I'm trying to get them to quiet down and behave. Even amid all of their annoying craziness and frustrating immaturity, they can be quite clever and endearing.
I think I might even miss them. Although I definitely won't miss integers and basic algebra. Or the revolutionary war. Or six trips to the restroom per kid every day (but I really I have to go! its an emergency!!!)
